This is my quilt along #3 practice sample I am doing with Leah Day. I really enjoyed this weeks homework in that it made me stop and think about the different sizes of stippling, ponder what I liked about each one, and what I did not like; I had not really thought a lot about why I preferred one size of stippling over another before, I just did the patterns and sizes I liked. It was another good lesson! Leah, you are a good teacher :)
If you would like to join us on this free motion quilting project each Wednesday, you will find Leah's link on the left side of my blog. Thanks Leah ~
Godspeed,
mary

2012 FMQ Challenge and Quilt Along # 1 and # 2 wiggles and rows
I am participating in SewCalGal's 2012 FMQ challenge and Leah Day's Quilt Along on Wednesdays. I made these two cloth books for my grandsons. I used the challenge patterns on one book and the quilt along patterns on the other. I posted a photo of the two books with my journal pages here. The solid green fabric is the back of each page, and the four pages in each book are bound with black bias tape. Having fun FMQ~ing and hope you are also. Godspeed,
