Quilt Along # 39 Matrix

Matrix... Now doesn't that sound interesting ~ Well it lived up to its name.   I really enjoyed working on Matrix and look forward to applying this pattern to some quilts in the future!  Not only was it fun, but it was Fast and best of all this time of year, busy with Christmas crafting, it was easy to do!

Thanks Leah!
Godspeed,
mary

  1. Mary, I am so excited. I used your advice and it worked. I fixed the stitching on the back by making an adjustment to my machine with a setting I didn't even know I had. Thank you for helping me out. I'm on my way to enjoying free motion quilting and look forward to learning more from you here on your blog. Thanks again. God bless, Jen

    1. So excited for you, and me, as it now means there is someone else nearby to share this fun hobby with! maybe this winter we can get together and share what we are learning! would love to see your projects and your progress...remember to keep your first one as a good measure for how far you go ~ and when you get discouraged it helps to remember you are learning. Let me know if I can be of any help along the way. With third grandbaby due this Spring an watching an infant for a friend one day a week until Christmas, pretty busy right now, lovin it!

    2. Hi Mary,
Wow number three on the way!! Which parents? How exciting for you and Gene. You are so blessed to watch a baby too. I get to help with a two year old five days a week, it's fun, but I'm also glad not to be the primary sitter. :) I learned how to do the Ziggy zag or zig e zag stitch, it was fun and then went into cursive Ls too. I've been watching Leah's tutorials for help. I posted on my blog my first mini quilt with the stippling stitch. Maybe you can check it out. I was pleased with how it turned out. I've got several quilt sandwiches, some are really bad. :) It would be fun to get together over the winter. I could bring my machine your way or visa versa. I'd love to learn from your expertise! Blessings and Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. Jen
